Welcome to Stonecrest Golf Club

Stonecrest is a semi-private golf course located in the rolling hills of central Florida. The course is the centerpiece of the recreational facilities associated with the adult retirement community of Stonecrest. Stonecrest is a links style course designed by Steve Newgent. Water can come into play on eight holes of this par 72 layout that measures 6,852 yards from the championship tees, 6213 yards from the intermediate (white) tees and 5045 yards from the ladies tees.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING

Very fun course to play that isnt a huge challenge. I enjoy the wide open fair ways. However just changed it to a links course and stopped mowing the roughs. That will definitely make the course harder. Greens and fairways about what you would expect from the price point. Normally not many others on course when I have played, I have played fast but also played slow practice round hitting multiple balls. Never seems to be an issue. I would recommend this course if you want a fun and relatively cheap round of golf. If you want perfect manicured course that feels stuffy, this is not your course. You want a relaxed fun round where you can work on your game then this is the course.
